"Enjoyed dining at El Cedric for an early dinner. The Lebanese/Mexican fusion really works and everything we tried was delicious. I ordered the Baked Feta Queso, Pollo Milanese Torta, Carne Asada, and Crunchy Tacos. Service was great!"
"A cozy and yummy new fusion spot in Brooklyn Heights! Casual vibe and fun aesthetic.
Do not sleep on the shawarma taco, we ordered 2 more portions after finishing the first one 🤤"
"Def one of my favorite spots so far! Everything was beautifully prepared, extremely fresh and absolutely delicious! The halloumi tacos, makanek batata, bandera dip, Armenian torta and kaftaquitos were incredible! So many bright and savory flavors I have never had before! Given this place is new they are a little understaffed so wait time is sometimes a little longer than usual, but I promise the wait is worth it! You can tell they try very hard to provide good service and are very friendly so try to be patient :) Will be coming back again with friends! 🫶🏽"
"This place is really special. Enjoyed every one of the dishes.
Dips were great but not the standouts. The Branzino and the nut sauce it came with was divine. The Crunchy and Pollo Asado tacos were incredible, perfect fusion of Lebanese and Mexican flavors."
"Interesting and creative mix of Middle Eastern and Mexican food. Highly recommend the makali sandwich which is made with zucchini, eggplant, pureed cauliflower, and red cabbage. It was very well flavored and definitely the highlight of the menu. The watermelon salad was good but too spicy with jalapeno seeds mixed in. We also liked the pan seared branzino which had a nice blend of herbs and spices.
The staff did not communicate well with the kitchen or were not yet trained as they came back noting the sandwich was sold out when in fact they meant the kitchen needed time to prepare the ingredients. I got confused when seeing customers who came in later having the sandwich."
"So good! Basically Lebanese-Mexican tapas. If I’d known how good the food was, I would’ve taken pics before we finished our food ;)
Also, $18 branzino FTW! Albeit a smaller portion but still!"
